Utillo 2.6 runs on Windows Computers or PADs. It has been tested on Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10.

Utillo 2.6 can also run on MAC Computers, inside a Windows Virtual Machine created by VirtualBox (https://www.virtualbox.org). For further information please send an email to utilloassistenza@gmail.com.

Click on "Save as" and select Desktop as destination folder, without changing the name of the file (Utillo.zip). Click on "Save" to confirm.

If you get a warning "The file… already exists. Overwrite it?" click on "Yes".

Once you have done, go on the Desktop of your Computer and verify the presence of the file Utillo.zip.

For security purposes, to open the file Utillo.zip you need to use the Password verdeflora41b.

Extract on the Desktop the file Utillo.exe (the program) and the file Utillo - User Manual.pdf (the user manual) which are contained inside Utillo.zip. You can do this operation in several ways, depending on the zip software installed on your Computer. For example: double click on Utillo.zip, click on "Extract", select Desktop as folder where to extract the files, type the password, click "Ok" to confirm.

We recommend to save the file Utillo.exe directly on the Desktop of the Computer where you want to activate it afterwards.

Utillo doesn't need to be installed on your Computer. Just double click on Utillo.exe to run the program.

If you get a protection/security warning you just have to unselect "Always warn before open this file" and click on "Execute". This warning can appear because Utillo doesn't have a digital signature.

Alternatively, on some Windows versions it could be necessary to right click on the file Utillo.exe, choose "Properties" and unselect the box "Cancel block" that you can find at the bottom right corner, if present.

On the most recent Windows versions, if you get the protection warning "SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting..." you just have to click on "More info" and then choice "Run anyway".

Some Antivirus programs may automatically remove the Utillo.exe file as soon as it is extracted from the Utillo.zip package or when you try to start it, due to the absence of the digital signature. In these cases it is necessary to enter your antivirus and check the quarantine area (or virus basket) to restore the Utillo.exe file. You may also need to set an exception for the Utillo.exe file in your antivirus so that it will no longer be deleted. In case of difficulty, write an email to utilloassistenza@gmail.com indicating the type of antivirus in use on your computer, to receive specific assistance.
